• For recruitment we visit various job centres to raise awareness of BETA First within the community.
• We have designed multi-language leaflets to target all segments of the community.
• To raise awareness there has been distribution of leaflets in libraries, shopping centres and other public places.
• We house a refugee's council to help people in improving their basic skills.
• Strengthening links with other community organisations is another one of our activites.

Additional Information

The Employment Liaison Department has committed itself to local community organisations. This department offers guidance and practical advice on issues relating to appropriate courses and employment opportunites.

In the department our main duties include recruitment of students from all segments of the community, assisting students with job applications, job interviews, placements, monitoring student performance in college and at their placements and creation of links with other community organisations.
